The AFGW NSW Annual General Meeting and associated events were held on the weekend and a good time was had by all.
The Central West Branch of AFGW NSW were welcoming hosts and organised a social dinner on the Friday evening where members were able to mingle informally. The AGM followed on Saturday with general business and the Education Trust AGM held concurrently.
The Guest Speaker was Robert Macklin, well known journalist, writer and filmmaker, and his special subject investigating Hamilton Hume the renowned explorer was very well received. We thank Mr Macklin for his time and expertise.
A new executive was elected and thanks given to the outgoing executive team of President Mrs Valerie Shevels, Treasurer Dr Patricia Gillard, Secretary Mrs Anne Holloway, CIR Mrs Joan Smith.
